Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety

How could CBT help with Anxiety?

I offer evidence-based, structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for adults struggling with anxiety in it's various forms. Whether that’s generalised anxiety, worry, OCD, social anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety or specific phobias. During CBT, together, we will work to:

  • identify your own specific difficulties as you see them and how these are impacting you.

  • identify unhelpful thoughts and patterns that might fuel anxiety

  • explore these thoughts and behaviours and see where changes can be made

  • build coping strategies, reduce avoidance and gradually build confidence

Sessions are tailored to your individual need. Whether you are experiencing occasional anxiety, a work related issue, chronic worry, or anxiety leading up to a specific event, I will take time to listen to how life is for you at the moment and together we will come up with a treatment plan.

I offer online therapy sessions delivered remotely to adults across the UK or in-person CBT therapy in Dorset. The flexibility will make it easy and convenient or you to start the journey to feeling calmer, lighter and more like yourself again.

CBT for anxiety is one of the most researched, effective treatments for anxiety disorders. By offering a structured, compassionate approach, I aim to help you reclaim a sense of safety, control, and inner steadiness.
